Well done! This is a fresh start to a basic emote. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title=" (Smile)" /> The captions are displayed nice and the expression on the emote is friendly and inviting...but at the same time devious!

I would suggest making this project a bit more exciting though. You wouldn't want to bore your watchers/passersby with still life emotes. In my opinion, emotes are meant to be active in life, roaming around freely like a sincere <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/g/g…" width="47" height="20" alt="" title="Glomp!" /> or a satisfying <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c…" width="16" height="16" alt="" title="Chew" />! In this matter, you could stress the word of 'exploding'.. perhaps with flashing colors symbolizing danger so it could stand out from the rest of the general words, and better yet, you could furrow the brows of the emote like <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="17" alt="" title="O_o" />, but with seductive movement.

Another suggestion I could give you is to PROVE the viewers that these are exploding pants. Maybe with sparks, bulky areas filled with dynamites--whatever nourishes your fancy.
